This Summer sees the launch of the Engine Yard, welcoming an inspired collection of retailers to the grounds of beautiful Belvoir Castle.
Nestling in the stunning Vale of Belvoir, the Engine Yard has been redeveloped to provide a dynamic retail village to visitors, tourists and the local community.
STEEPED IN HISTORY
Originally constructed by the Victorians in 1850 as the hub of the estate to produce furniture, doors and windows for the Castle, a team of experts have carefully repurposed the Engine Yard’s traditional buildings. Steeped in history, the complex originally included a saw mill, wagon making shop and wheelwright’s shop. Now it will be home to a distinctive selection of shops and experiences.
THE BEST OF COUNTRY LIVING
Sensitively converted, the three acre landscaped site features spaces that celebrate local food, artisan shopping and the best of country living. Sustainability and provenance are at the heart of the Engine Yard’s ethos. Every brick and beam has been retained and reused.
THE DUCHESS’S GALLERY
As well as stylish shopping, visitors can look forward to relaxing in the tranquil Spa and finding inspiration in the specialist Plant Centre. A particular highlight will be the launch of The Duchess’s Gallery, showcasing a unique collection of garments, gifts and accessories from luxury brands together with exciting new British designers.
