Sitting at the heart of the Engine Yard, surrounded by a variety of other unique outlets, The Fuel Tank Kitchen spans the ground floor of the lovingly refurbished historic site of the original water pumping station for the Castle, extending outdoors to a large covered seating area. Inside, the cafe’s traditional atmosphere, enhanced by exposed brick walls, wooden beams and flooring, serves up plenty of hot and cold snacks and drinks to keep your own tank full at all times.

Mouthwatering brunches, lunches and take outs
Beginning with a tasty breakfast menu, served between 10am-11.30am every day, visitors are spoilt for brunch options. Ranging from a full English or eggs benedict, to a variety of breakfast rolls, including a vegan option; there’s something to suit all taste buds.
The lunch menu includes traditional dishes, all locally sourced where possible, such as beer battered fish and chips, ploughmans, pheasant nuggets and a children’s picnic board. In addition, there’s an abundance of delicious sandwiches, salads and soups to choose from. Oh, and don’t forget to leave room for the delicious handmade cakes which are on full display, ready to tantalise your tastebuds on sight!
The Fuel Tank Kitchen is licenced, serving beers, cider, wines, prosecco and Pimms along with a selection of teas. coffees and hot chocolates. It’s a delicious place to refuel when you need to!

Whether you choose to take your meal inside, or out, you’ll find the food is excellent quality, with plenty of vegetarian options, and perfectly portioned to really hit the spot. All dishes use local suppliers and ingredients, some from the Belvoir Estate itself.
